Description

The King wants potions. Gold. More potions. Every season, the tribute gets worse, and he does not care about your problems.

You're a dwarf with a tiny farm, a beat-up cauldron, and four seasons to figure it out. Grow herbs. Cross-breed them for rare hybrids with better genetics. Brew potions and try not to drink too many of them. Dive into dungeons when your wallet's empty. Sell to desperate heroes passing through town. Pet the dog. Survive.

Every run is different. Random events throw bandits, ghosts, cursed shrines, and tax collectors at you. Mutant herbs appear when you least expect them. The cauldron remembers what you feed it and rewards you for paying attention. And when things go sideways, Aries the dog will drag your unconscious body home. She's a good girl.

How to Play

Click to move and interact. Click on plants to harvest, soil to plant, the cauldron to brew, and the shipping crate to sell. Enter the dungeon for gold and ingredients. Visit town to trade with heroes and buy relics. End each season by paying the King's tribute in gold and potions.

Tip: Pay attention to your cauldron's memory - brewing the same element repeatedly unlocks combo bonuses, and brewing different elements can have surprising effects!

Staggering amount of content for a 7DRL. I really enjoy the main loop and macro mechanics of managing your farm. It has a bit of a board game feel to it, which I feel helps give it a lot of replayability. I had a few issues with the mouse scrolling controls not letting me see the menu properly when making a choice. I made it to S4 but made a mistake near the end that cost me the game.

Thanks for playing! I'll take a look at the mouse scrolling controls, I tried to make sure everything was fully mouse compatible but it likely needs some improvements on some of the menus for the web build.

You'll get that dastardly King's tribute next time.
